Orders testing as deemed necessary, remains proficient in interpreting results, and prescribes appropriate medication and therapeutic regimen within the scope of practice.
These roles, undertaken in cooperation with nursing, staff physicians, and other department staff, may include triage, telephone communication, and patient education.
