Job Summary
The Dietary Aide assists in the preparation and service of meals to residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Essential duties include setting up meal trays, assisting with meal service, clearing and stripping returned trays, washing dishes and utensils, and operating dishwashing equipment safely.
The role involves maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and dietary areas, disposing of trash properly, storing groceries safely, and cleaning work surfaces and refrigerators.
