Job Summary
Provides key important and required job functions that supports a large complex, integrated, and centralized laboratory animal resource program on the UT Health Science Center campus.
Serves as the lead technician in the work unit and performs routine and specialized duties in the handling, care, feeding, breeding colony management, disease surveillance, and experimental support.
Collaborates with investigators and research staff to lend assistance to various research projects that require unique or specialized husbandry practices.
