Job Summary

  • Primary duties include teaching diesel technology courses using a variety of teaching aids, methods and techniques following the state approved curricula.
  • In addition to teaching, the employee will be responsible for developing instructional and lab activities; maintaining program and student records; assisting with recruitment, placement, and follow-up; participating in professional development activities; and other duties as assigned.
  • The ideal candidate for the full-time faculty position must be an experienced, skilled mechanic/technician with a formal education equivalent to a baccalaureate degree with two years diesel experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent with five years’ experience in diesel technology that includes at least one year of advanced training.
