Job Summary
The Engineer is responsible for design, development and establishment of injection molds and fixtures from conceptual phase until establishment both at supplier and in-house.
The role involves mould design reviews including mold flow analysis to ensure first time right and defect free mould development and providing design support to toolmakers to select low-cost suppliers.
The candidate will monitor tool development schedules, attend try-outs to ensure quality, perform root cause analysis, and develop mould design checklists to prevent failures.

Injection mould design using CREO 3D
Mould flow analysis and interpretation
Manufacturing feasibility studies from 3D models
Injection mould manufacturing process planning
Prepare mould specification sheets
Knowledge of hot runner systems

Good teamwork and positive thinking
Flexible to travel
Experience with PVC, CPVC and UPVC
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Key Requirements
10 to 15 years experience in plastic injection mould design
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in tool design from NTTF, GTTC or CIPET
Hands on experience in injection mould designing
Experience developing 2D drawings using AutoCAD
Knowledge of injection mould manufacturing and process setup
