  • The physician assistant will function as an independent healthcare provider working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care in a variety of settings.
  • Provides direct individualized patient care and treatment with responsibility for assessing, examining, diagnosing and analyzing the patient's current health condition and developing short and long-term goals and treatment plans.
  • Participates in quality/performance initiatives, research activities, education, development of policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines as indicated while evaluating and implements the standards of care within the area of specialization.
