Job Summary
The Noise and Vibration Performance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that a vehicle meets its targeted noise and vibration performance.
Engineers will typically be assigned primarily to one of the following areas: Powertrain, Engine accessory drive, Driveline and AWD, Exhaust tuning, Air Induction, Body and Component structure, HVAC, Wind noise, Squeak and Rattle, Interior Acoustics, Body Sealing.
Work jointly with other vehicle integration areas, the powertrain noise team, and the Lead Engineer to balance vehicle needs – mass, fuel economy, ride and handling, manufacturing, safety, etc.
