Job Summary

  • The Noise and Vibration Performance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that a vehicle meets its targeted noise and vibration performance.
  • Engineers will typically be assigned primarily to one of the following areas: Powertrain, Engine accessory drive, Driveline and AWD, Exhaust tuning, Air Induction, Body and Component structure, HVAC, Wind noise, Squeak and Rattle, Interior Acoustics, Body Sealing.
  • Work jointly with other vehicle integration areas, the powertrain noise team, and the Lead Engineer to balance vehicle needs – mass, fuel economy, ride and handling, manufacturing, safety, etc.
