$41.6130/hour; $3/hour increase upon completion of the Advanced Utility Process Operator Certification Program; Average annual earnings exceed $130,000 with overtime

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Class 1 Stationary Engineer license preferred
  • Familiarity with automated process control systems
  • Experience with high pressure boilers
  • Experience with large-scale ammonia refrigeration
  • Experience with compressed air systems
  • Experience with CO2 gas collection and liquefaction
  • Ability to exercise large valves
  • Instrument reading
  • Troubleshooting process issues
  • Lubrication of equipment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and identify root causes
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
