  • The Speech and Language Pathologist has specific responsibility for providing speech and language assessments and evaluations for children who have more complex diagnoses.
  • The Speech and Language Pathologist will also be responsible for providing speech-language intervention to enrolled children, instructing parents and other caregivers in communication-related activities to attain desired outcomes and providing consultation and technical assistance to other staff and community paraprofessionals, professionals and agencies.
  • The Family, Infant and Preschool Program (FIPP) is a community-based component of the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, providing research and supports and services in western North Carolina since 1972.
