Job Summary
The Speech and Language Pathologist has specific responsibility for providing speech and language assessments and evaluations for children who have more complex diagnoses.
The Speech and Language Pathologist will also be responsible for providing speech-language intervention to enrolled children, instructing parents and other caregivers in communication-related activities to attain desired outcomes and providing consultation and technical assistance to other staff and community paraprofessionals, professionals and agencies.
The Family, Infant and Preschool Program (FIPP) is a community-based component of the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, providing research and supports and services in western North Carolina since 1972.
