Job Summary

  • The role involves driving product development from early-stage concept through to design, testing, and launch while improving existing products for performance and manufacturability.
  • Candidates will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, and Sales teams to act as technical advisors and problem-solvers across the business.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Mechanical or Production Engineering qualification
  • Hands-on product development experience
  • Proficiency with Creo 3D CAD software
  • Deep knowledge of plastics and injection moulding

Nice-to-have

  • Experience designing plumbing or irrigation products
  • Background in building or construction products
  • Experience with brass components design
  • Proactive mindset to challenge ideas

Key Requirements

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident status required
  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Production Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical product design
