Integrated Pest Management techniques
Plant pest and disease identification
Operation of light-duty horticultural equipment
Record keeping with electronic software
Physical ability to perform outdoor gardening tasks
Work under varying climatic conditions
Valid NYS driver’s license
Nice-to-have
Proficiency with Cornell Pesticide Application Database
Familiarity with ArGIS

Key Requirements
A.A.S. degree or equivalent experience in entomology, plant pathology, or horticulture
Minimum 2 years pest management experience
Ability to obtain 3A and 7A Certified Technician pesticide licenses within 6 months
Ability to obtain NYS Certified Applicator Pesticide License within 2 years
Valid and unrestricted NYS driver’s license
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and outside regular shifts
