Job Summary

  • Provides leadership and support to ensure that all school nurses, clinic assistants, and other personnel are appropriately trained to provide optimum health services for all students.
  • Serves as a consultant to local school clinic assistants and clinic assistant substitutes; Ensures clinic workers are appropriately trained and follow approved clinic protocol including the supervision of medication for students as appropriate.
  • Works in concert with the cluster nurses to meet the health care needs of all students and Recommends provisions for a healthy and safe school environment.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Current Georgia RN license
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
