Job Summary
Assists the Director of Nursing in directing activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel whom provide health care and nursing services to residents on a 24-hour, 7day per week basis.
Responsible for ensuring resident safety, and ensuring residents are treated with the utmost respect.
Assists the DON in the design, implementation and evaluation of nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintains and promotes resident rights.

Supervision and management of nursing staff
Direct resident care as needed
Oversee clinical operations

Liaison between residents, family, physicians
Maintain confidentiality
Stay abreast of regulatory changes

Develop and implement nursing systems
Conduct ongoing in-services for staff
Proficient in Microsoft Suite products
Knowledge and experience with PCC
Key Requirements
Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
3-5 years nurse management experience
Good standing with State Board of Nursing
Maintain all required continuing education/licensing
