Job Summary

  • The Regional Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery and sustainability of Programs, Training & Development and Quality within the Long Term Care homes, as well as the implementation and sharing of policies/programs.
  • Key responsibilities include supporting professional practice, educating and mentoring teams, promoting compliance, ensuring effective operation and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) of homes, and representing the organization to external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years senior management experience in Long Term Care
  • Familiar with using data to drive decisions
  • Skilled in translating policies into direct practice
  • Experience in gerontology/CQI/research/adult learning/change management
  • Ability to facilitate learning for others
  • Strong leadership, oral and written communication, interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office applications)
  • Ability to reason, think analytically and conceptually
  • Valid driver's license required
