Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Graduate of accredited Pharmacy Technician Program
  • Licensure and registration in Nova Scotia as Pharmacy Technician
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and inventory control

Nice-to-have

  • Drug administration by injection technical permit
  • Experience with automation technology and unit dose systems
  • French language proficiency
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy setting

Key Requirements

  • Accredited Pharmacy Technician Program graduate
  • NSPR licensure and registration required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
