Leidos UK is seeking skilled Kurdish (Sorani) and Arabic translators to support national security efforts through a variety of linguistic tasks such as translation, interpretation, transcription, and summarization. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant degree and experience, along with strong cultural and contextual understanding of the languages involved
Job Summary
Provide professional-level linguistic support across translation, interpretation, transcription, and Gisting.
Accurately translate materials from Kurdish and Arabic into English and vice versa, capturing subtle nuances and cultural references.
Leidos will sponsor and upgrade security clearances for eligible candidates, and requires candidates to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience
Successfully complete a Leidos-administered language proficiency test at the Primary level or higher
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Must take and pass a medical laboratory and/or physical screen
Successfully completing required weapons training
