Job Summary

  • Work involves assisting a veterinarian in technical procedures and activities involving animal care within the specialty area of Equine Surgery.
  • The successful candidate will organize, direct, and provide helpful and collegial assistance to clinicians, residents, professional students and technical students during appointments.
  • This position also provides surgical assistance by preparing patient and equipment for surgery, placing IV catheters and administering preoperative medications.
