Key Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Automotive field of study
5+ years of work experience
Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems
Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge
Technical training or commensurate technical experience
Valid Driver's License
Certified/senior technician with respective manufacturer
State inspection/emissions license
Required manufacturer fundamental training
Meets manufacturer requirements for ASE tests
Completed manufacturer training for warranty repairs, recalls, PDI’s, maintenance, and minor repairs
Basic computer skills for timekeeping and parts systems
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and personnel
Regular and predictable attendance including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
Ability to apply common sense understanding and deal with standardized situations
