Job Summary

  • Oversees and performs facilities maintenance tasks across a group of properties to meet company requirements for building standards, health and safety, statutory compliance and overall asset functionality.
  • Assigns and ensures completion of work orders, monitors building services, and contributes to the turnover process by managing apartment inspections and necessary maintenance tasks.
  • Works with external stakeholders, develops team capabilities, and maintains inventory while developing and actioning planned preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements

  • O’ Level / GCSE level education or equivalent
  • Qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering or plumbing
  • Knowledge in all building repair trades
  • General knowledge of Health and Safety risks
  • Building maintenance experience in domestic residential environment
  • Experience of developing and maintaining risk assessments
  • Ability to effectively supervise Contractors and Suppliers
  • Ability to work with aptitude to determine cost effective solutions
  • NICEIC Registered Electrician an advantage
  • IOSH qualified
  • Understanding of HVCA SFG20 maintenance job plans
