Job Summary

  • This Lead Medical Technologist directs the daily operations of the Chemistry area and provides leadership within the critical care laboratory.
  • The technologist performs specialized automated and manual laboratory procedures, verifies and reports test requests and results, and is directly responsible for the technical quality of tests performed.
  • The Critical Care Laboratory utilizes a total laboratory automated system that delivers specimens to automated chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, blood gases, immunochemistry and coagulation analyzers.
