  • The main purpose of the role is to be involved in several accounting and controlling activities mainly related legal entities having shipping and bunkering business objectives.
  • Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of monthly accounting packs, performing accounting controls, and supporting annual accounts finalisation and audits.
  • The position provides the opportunity to work in close proximity with several departments such as deals desk and operations, ensuring business controls and processes are conducted in compliance with standards.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
  • Proven expertise in Shipping industry
  • University degree in Accounting & Reporting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics
  • Knowledge of IAS 16, IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
  • Fluent English including shipping, accounting and economic terms
  • Advanced Excel skills
