The Palliative Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a core member of the BWFH Department of Medicine and key constituent of the palliative care division, primarily responsible for serving as a palliative care consultant for inpatient hospital services.
The APP works closely with palliative care physicians, inpatient physicians, advanced practice professionals, residents, and nursing staff to develop and coordinate a plan of care designed to meet the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and their families.
