Job Summary
The primary purpose of this job position is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration.
Essential duties include assisting with administrative functions such as maintaining employee phone numbers, updating business office with manager phone numbers, and completing employee records.
The role involves coordinating monthly nursing schedules, completing and posting work sheets/time schedules, and consulting with nursing department staff and supervisors concerning staffing/scheduling needs.
