Key Requirements
Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
3 -5 years of recent RN clinical experience
Working knowledge of MCG guidelines
Certification by an approved entity within one year of eligibility
2 years of recent experience in utilization review, quality or care management
Knowledge of acute care and accreditation requirements
Experience in discharge planning and quality improvement
