Ryder System is seeking a Warehouse Lead Industrial Engineer to support its Continuous Improvement culture by applying engineering methodologies and data analytics to enhance operations in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing, and will lead projects to drive process improvements while collaborating across various levels of the organization

Job Summary

  • This position supports the Ryder Continuous Improvement culture by actively applying continuous improvement methods to support new and existing operations.
  • The Lead Engineer will identify, lead and drive change within the operation through data driven CI, Engineering, and Automation efforts to deliver higher levels of performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain) and 7 years related experience; or Master’s degree and 5 years related experience
  • 7 years or more in Warehousing & Transportation/Manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in developing and managing Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Understanding and experience in core engineering and data analysis functions
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
