Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences
  • Perform ABO/Rh and antibody identification testing
  • Execute blood component issuance and massive transfusion protocols
  • Maintain instrumentation and perform preventive maintenance
  • Conduct daily reagent quality control procedures

Nice-to-have

  • ASCP or CHT (ABHI) certification preferred
  • Previous clinical laboratory experience valued
  • Ability to assist in student teaching and training
  • Strong communication with physicians and nursing staff
  • Experience with Luminex and next generation sequencing methods

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States
  • ASCP or CHT (ABHI) certification (Preferred)
  • Pass pre-employment screening including background check and drug test
