The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to supervise and provide direct nursing care during the assigned NOC shift in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations.
Ensure adequate RN/LVN and CNA staffing levels throughout the shift, supervise, support, and delegate duties to nursing staff, and conduct rounds to ensure quality care and compliance with nursing standards.
The RN ensures the highest degree of quality care is maintained and supports safe, effective overnight operations of the nursing department.
