FLIR is seeking an Electro/mechanical Assembler to join their team, focusing on assembling electronic and electro-mechanical components with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have a vocational or technical background with at least 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating proficiency in assembly tasks and quality control

Job Summary

  • Under limited supervision, performs a wide variety of moderately difficult electronic and electro-mechanical subassembly and assembly operations.
  • Interprets and works from electromechanical schematics, drawing, work instructions and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
  • May perform work (soldering and general inspection) under microscope and perform online go-not-go testing and inspection.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
  • Ability to enter time and data into a computer system
