Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this job position is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration.
  • This role involves administrative, committee, personnel, staff development, safety, equipment, and budget functions to ensure an efficient operation.
  • The position requires the ability to cope with mental and emotional stress, work independently, and relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times, hostile people.
