Job Summary

  • This role will lead and oversee mission-critical initiatives in support of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), safeguarding applications and cloud-based systems by integrating security best practices.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring and assessing system security, performing secure code reviews, testing security tools, investigating and remediating vulnerabilities, and designing/implementing security controls.
  • The position requires an active Top Secret clearance and proven experience in application security, secure software development, or cybersecurity engineering, with a focus on cloud environments.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years application security, secure software development, or cybersecurity engineering
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
  • 2 years experience with DCSA
  • 5 years experience with AWS cloud platforms
  • Hands-on secure code review and vulnerability assessment experience
  • Experience implementing security controls in secure federal cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of secure coding standards (OWASP, NIST, DoD STIGs)
  • Experience supporting systems in regulated or high-security environments
