Job Summary

  • Candidates must have strong Air to Air Refuelling experience on specific aircraft types such as KC-30A, KC-135, or KC-46.
  • Applicants must be eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance, which requires Australian Citizenship.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Strong Air to Air Refuelling experience on KC-30A/MRTT
  • More than 1000 hours as an Air Refuelling Operator
  • More than 100 hours as an Instructor
  • Previous military AAR Boom hose and drogue experience
  • Authorized competent simulator instructor qualification

Nice-to-have

  • Willingness to obtain Cert IV Training and Assessment
  • Experience with local and remote site training delivery
  • Ability to communicate with simulator maintenance technicians

Key Requirements

  • Australian Citizenship required for security clearance
  • Cert IV Training and Assessment held or willing to obtain
  • Authorization by CO CFS as a competent simulator instructor
  • Minimum 1000 hours Air Refuelling Operator experience
  • Minimum 100 hours Instructor experience
