Job Summary

  • This SkillBridge internship offers Service members real-world training and work experience in aircraft engine testing during their last 180 days of active duty.
  • The On Wing Support Test Technician will perform shipping, receiving, prepping, de-prepping, inspection, and testing of GE/CFM commercial engines in accordance with strict technical references.
  • Participants are not eligible for compensation from GE Aerospace as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits while gaining industry experience.

Key Requirements

  • FAA Powerplant Mechanic certification or Form 8610-2
  • Must be able to obtain Powerplant License before start
  • U.S. Person status (Citizen, LPR, Asylee, or Refugee)
