Job Summary
This SkillBridge internship offers Service members real-world training and work experience in aircraft engine testing during their last 180 days of active duty.
The On Wing Support Test Technician will perform shipping, receiving, prepping, de-prepping, inspection, and testing of GE/CFM commercial engines in accordance with strict technical references.
Participants are not eligible for compensation from GE Aerospace as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits while gaining industry experience.

Must-have

High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to use mechanical ingenuity in fast-paced environment

Desire to learn constantly in OWS test operations
Ability to work as part of a team or independently
Key Requirements
FAA Powerplant Mechanic certification or Form 8610-2
Must be able to obtain Powerplant License before start
U.S. Person status (Citizen, LPR, Asylee, or Refugee)
