The Home Depot is seeking a Field Sales Consultant for their Exteriors division in Hackensack, NJ. This role focuses on outside sales activities, including visiting customers' homes and trade shows, to sell exterior and interior products and services

Job Summary

  • A Home Services Sales Consultant is responsible for selling the Company's exterior and interior products and services to customers.
  • Sales Consultants will travel to customers' homes to make sales calls, assess customer needs, make individually-tailored product recommendations, develop and negotiate customized price quotes, present warranty information and financial options that meet the customer's needs, and maintain/drive profitability.
  • The Sales Consultant will also complete required sales contracts and paperwork, and take measurements using industry-standard methods to ensure orders meet required installation specifications.
