Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, government contracting, or related field with three years of relevant experience OR a related Master's degree
  • Previous APEX Accelerator or small business program experience
  • Previous government contracting experience
  • Experience as a contracting officer for a federal government agency
  • Experience in establishing economic development, community, and business relationships
  • Knowledge of government procurement and acquisition processes
  • Knowledge of government contracting databases (SAM, FPDS)
  • Knowledge of government regulations (FAR)
  • Skills in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Skills in interpersonal relations and public speaking
  • Skills in computer, internet, database and MS Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently
  • Valid Arkansas driver's license
