Job Summary
The Assistive Technologist is primarily responsible for completing Assistive Technology Assessments for individuals who are blind and visually impaired to help them live independently, be successful in training programs, and/or return/retain employment.
The position requires familiarity with changing technology and its applications, including tele-care, robotics, computer applications/software/apps, and alternative/augmentative communication options, as well as knowledge of the latest software and hardware related to various function areas.
