Job Summary

• The Nurse Practitioner is an independent health care provider who, working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary health team, is responsible for patient evaluation and care through the performance of pertinent history and physical examination, assessment of needs and delivery of appropriate treatment.
• Provides nursing care and health teaching to an assigned group of adult and geriatric patients in an observation setting.
• All duties and responsibilities are accomplished according to the collaborative practice agreement required by the State of Florida.
