Job Summary
The Registered Dietitian is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines.
Assess the nutritional status of residents and develop individualized nutrition care plans, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to dietary services in a skilled nursing facility.
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and dietary staff to implement nutrition interventions and provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff as needed.
