Job Summary

  • The KBR Metrology team supports manufacturing, engineering & test, repair & overhaul, and aftermarket service centers globally in support of Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Medical, Safety, Semiconductor and other industries.
  • Metrology Technician is responsible for performing routine calibrations, tests and/or inspections in-lab or on-site using accredited standards and taking care of the day-to-day escalations and priority requests.

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the field
  • Associate's degree in engineering technology or relevant field
  • Working knowledge of voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, time and frequency
  • Working knowledge of signal conditioning, blueprint and drawings
  • Working knowledge of dimensional tooling and hand tools
  • Working knowledge of pressure controllers, pressure dead weight testers
  • Working knowledge of force gages and load cells
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel
