Highmark Health is seeking an Internal Business Systems Consultant to perform business analysis tasks related to system applications, focusing on stakeholder support, issue resolution, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in operational areas related to healthcare, alongside technical application experience, to drive innovative solutions and improvements

Job Summary

  • Perform business analysis tasks by supporting stakeholders of a specific system application(s), handling user inquiries/issues, and enhancements to the system.
  • Take a lead role with customers, Application Developers, and other team members to capture capability needs and drive quality business solutions on complex issues.
  • Create ad-hoc reports pulling data from various sources and/or run system reports and conduct complex analysis on reports to ensure system performance and/or results.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 7 years in a relevant operational area
  • 5 years of technical application experience
  • 5 years in the Health Insurance Industry (preferred)
  • 5 years in the Healthcare Industry (preferred)
  • 5 years with Lean Six/Sigma (preferred)
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
