The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd. is seeking an Assistant System Control Engineer to manage and monitor their power systems, with responsibilities including coordinating high voltage apparatus work and assessing distribution outages. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, have at least two years of relevant experience, and demonstrate proficiency in technical software and communication skills in English and Chinese
Job Summary
The appointee will mainly perform responsibilities to control and monitor the Company's power system and coordinate the work on the High Voltage (HV) apparatus.
Assist in assessing distribution outages and prepare switching programmes and contingency plans to maintain the continuity and security of supply of the distribution system.
Carry out operations related to HV equipment outages, commissioning and routine testing, and perform duties of 24-hour shift roster or irregular hours.
