Job Summary
This position leads an assigned area within the Sterile Processing Department to ensure all surgical instruments are properly inventoried, decontaminated, and sterilized.
The role requires validating biological and chemical sterilization tests and documenting daily equipment performance in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Employees will train and precept students and new technicians while managing inventory, implants, and preference cards for various surgical specialties.
