The Academic Support Specialist III is responsible for assessing student readiness for practicum, preparing students for the practicum placement process, and determining appropriate placement options.
The position is responsible for recruiting and onboarding qualified practicum sites and social work practicum instructors, and collaborating to plan and conduct program orientations, trainings, and events.
Essential duties include processing student applications, securing required documentation, conducting conflict resolution, identifying and recruiting placement sites, maintaining accurate data, and conducting offsite practicum supervision.
