Job Summary
The Director of Staff Development is responsible for planning and implementing facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants.
The DSD works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
The role requires providing direct resident/patient care as needed and supervising staff, including administering appropriate disciplinary measures.
