Key Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of successful people leadership experience
  • Minimum of ten (10) years managing complex, multiphase telecommunications projects
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of OSP construction management experience
  • Extensive experience managing turnkey (EPC) contractors
  • Proven history of delivering large, multi-million dollar fiber deployment programs
  • Experience administering NTIA or similar federal program requirements
  • Specific experience navigating complex permitting and regulatory processes
  • Strong understanding of OSP construction standards and design principles
  • Working knowledge of optical network concepts and fiber testing standards
  • Familiarity with GIS based tools
  • Knowledge of the U.S. carrier, long haul, and dark fiber market landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and contractors
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget creation and cost control
  • Experience developing, negotiating, and administering large-scale construction and engineering contracts
  • Skilled in risk identification and mitigation planning
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Sitetracker strongly preferred
  • Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Ability to travel up to ~10%
