Job Summary

  • The Operations Manager is responsible for managing all administrative activities and operations for the Office of the Vice-President, Health (OVPH), including human resources, project planning, financial processing, facilities management, space planning, and workplace safety and security.
  • The Operations Manager advises, counsels and provides authoritative information to the AVPH, Managing Director, and OVPH staff on human resources management, project planning, financial processing, facilities, IT planning and renewal, grants and contracts, and administrative issues, ensuring compliance with University policies and practices.
  • Inappropriate actions, errors in performance or indiscretions in judgment can have a negative impact on the Office of the Vice-President, Health and the University, and may result in legal action, negative public relations, financial repercussions, and loss of credibility in the Office's ability to demonstrate value in the areas of collaborative health education, research and systems.
