The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director in running a creative and interactive activities program that meets the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
The role involves participating in planning and conducting individual, small, and large group activities, as well as assisting with transportation and communication among employees, residents, families, and external agencies.
The Activity Assistant helps develop monthly activity calendars, maintains attendance records, assists with quality assurance plans, and ensures the Activity Department is clean, orderly, and secured.
