The Behavioral Health Occupational Therapist selects evaluations and interventions to promote mental health and support functioning in patients with psychiatric or behavioral disorders.
The role involves supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and other staff while reporting to the Director or Nurse Manager.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, facilitating group interventions, developing milieu programs, and documenting patient progress toward goal attainment.
