  • Assists with patient examinations by performing and documenting basic clinical services necessary to provide for care, comfort and safety of patients.
  • Performs assigned clinical procedures including phlebotomy and laboratory on-site testing, electrocardiograms, tympanograms and other procedures as demonstrated through annual competencies and certifications as applicable.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • NCCA Medical Assistant program graduate
  • Current AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT certification
  • Current Health Care Provider certification
  • Prior direct patient care experience
  • Knowledge of medical insurance
  • Basic knowledge of CPT, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding
