• The Nurse Extern role is designed to provide expanded clinical experience for professional (RN) nursing students and to assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities.
• Accurately checks patient’s blood sugar and documents results as ordered, obtains vital signs appropriately, and performs patient interventions completely and proficiently within scope of practice.
