Job Summary
At Teledyne FLIR, we’re building the future of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for defense and security missions.
You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and work hands-on with cutting-edge hardware and software, including NVIDIA Jetson platforms, camera systems, and custom Yocto-based Linux builds.
This role offers the chance to make a real impact on fielded and flight-tested systems by solving challenging system-level problems where software meets hardware.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Yocto-based embedded Linux development
Linux kernel and device driver configuration
NVIDIA Jetson platform expertise
C/C++ embedded software development
Linux device driver implementation
CI/CD workflows with Git and Jenkins
Nice-to-have
RTOS and real-time system familiarity
MIPI-CSI camera system bring-up
Video pipeline optimization with GStreamer
Robotics and autonomous systems experience
Hardware/software debugging skills
Key Requirements
Senior-level experience (6+ years) in embedded software development
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required
Experience with embedded Linux kernel and Yocto build systems
Proficiency in C/C++ programming
Eligibility to obtain US export control license
